Terms of Use
Last updated 24 July 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and any enquiry you send us. By using the site or making an enquiry, you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
Who We Are
Your Pension Insights provides expert financial education, independent insights and wealth management guidance. You can reach us at info@pensioninsights.co.uk.
We Don't Give Financial Advice
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Nothing on this site is financial advice, a personal recommendation, or an invitation to buy or sell any investment or product.
Everything published here is general educational information. It doesn't take account of your circumstances, objectives or attitude to risk, and it may not be right for you. Before acting on anything you read here, get personal advice from a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The value of investments and any income from them can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not a guide to future performance. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change. Pension rules and allowances change from time to time, so content here may become out of date.
How Our Introductions Work
If you ask to speak to someone, we'll contact you to understand what you're looking for, then introduce you to one independent financial adviser firm that is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We'll tell you which firm. What that means in practice:
- We are an introducer. We are not part of any advice, agreement or transaction between you and the adviser firm.
- The adviser firm is solely responsible for the advice it gives you, for its own regulatory obligations, and for its own charges. It will agree its fees with you directly before doing any chargeable work.
- The adviser firm pays us for arranging the introduction. This does not increase what you pay, and we are not paid according to what you buy or how much you invest.
- An introduction is not a recommendation of that firm, and not a statement that its advice will suit you. Please do your own checks, including on the FCA Register at register.fca.org.uk.
- You are never obliged to proceed, and there is no charge to you for the introduction.
Because the adviser firm is FCA authorised, the advice it gives you may be covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Our introduction service isn't, because introducing isn't a regulated activity.
Information You Give Us
Please make sure what you tell us is accurate, and that it's about you rather than someone else without their permission. You need to be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. We handle your information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Availability of the Site
We try to keep the site available, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, design, graphics and the Your Pension Insights name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. You're welcome to read and print it for your own personal use. Please don't republish, redistribute or use it commercially without our written permission.
Third-Party Links
Where we link to other websites, we do so for information only. We don't control them and we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Our Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we're not liable for loss arising from your reliance on the general information published here, or for loss arising from advice given to you by an adviser firm we introduce you to, since that firm is responsible for its own advice.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with our introduction service, email info@pensioninsights.co.uk. We'll acknowledge it promptly and respond within eight weeks. If your complaint is about the advice you received, please raise it with the adviser firm directly, because that firm is FCA authorised and its complaints process gives you access to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version published here when you use the site is the version that applies.
