Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 July 2026

This policy explains what information we collect about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have over it. It applies to this website and to any enquiry form you complete about us on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram.

The short version. If you ask us to arrange a consultation, we pass your details to one independent financial adviser firm that is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, so they can contact you. That is the whole purpose of the service. We never sell your details, and we never pass them to a panel of firms.

Who We Are

Your Pension Insights provides expert financial education, independent insights and wealth management guidance. We are the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy.

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not give financial advice or make personal recommendations. Where you ask us to, we introduce you to financial advisers who are themselves FCA authorised and regulated.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you complete an enquiry form, here or on a social media advert, we may collect:

Information we collect automatically

When you visit this site we collect limited technical information through server logs and, where you have consented, analytics and advertising cookies: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the advert or link that brought you here.

Information from advertising platforms

If you complete an enquiry form inside LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram, that platform passes your answers to us. Those platforms are separate controllers of the data they hold about you, and their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.

Please don't send us sensitive information. We never ask for details of your health, ethnicity, religion, political opinions or anything similar, and we don't need them. Please don't include them in a message.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

We rely on your consent to contact you, to introduce you to an adviser, and to send you content you asked for. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and we will stop. We rely on our legitimate interests in running, improving and defending our business to keep records and measure advertising, and you can object to that. Where the law requires us to keep information, we rely on that legal obligation. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Information Sharing

Financial adviser firms. If you ask us to arrange a consultation, we pass your name, contact details and your form answers to a single independent adviser firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We will tell you which firm. From that point the firm is an independent controller of your information and its own privacy policy applies. We do not sell your details and we do not distribute them to a panel of firms.

Providers who work on our instructions. Our customer relationship and pipeline software, our telephony and contact-centre software, our email, calendar and appointment-booking providers, and our website and form hosting. These act on our instructions only and cannot use your information for their own purposes.

Advertising platforms. LinkedIn, Meta and Google, in connection with the advertising and analytics described below.

Professional advisers and authorities. Our accountants, insurers and legal advisers, and any regulator, court or law-enforcement body where we are legally required to disclose.

Call Recording

We may record calls for training, quality and record-keeping. If a call is being recorded you will be told at the start, and you can ask us not to.

Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricting access to staff who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take our obligations seriously and will notify you and the Information Commissioner's Office where the law requires it.

Some of our providers operate outside the UK, including in the United States and South Africa. Where information is transferred outside the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum approved by the UK government, with appropriate safeguards. You can ask us for details.

Data Retention

Your Rights

You have the right to:

We do not make any decision about you by automated means alone. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@pensioninsights.co.uk and we will respond within one month, free of charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and Tracking

This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. We may also use analytics and advertising technologies, including the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google Analytics, to measure how our advertising performs. Non-essential cookies are set only where you have consented, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may then not work as intended. We also load a web font service, which means your IP address is disclosed to that provider when the page loads.

Third-Party Links

Where we link to other websites, we do so for information only. We don't control them and we're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
